Dr Don Pedro Obaseki, former Governorship candidate of the Labour Party said he would rather vote someone whose manifesto is in the public domain rather than rely on speeches.
In an interview granted to Independent Television ITV in the build up to 2016 election in the State, Dr Pedro Obaseki, described the The Simple Agenda of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as a document that meets his expectation as a Leader.
In his words, Dr Don Pedro Obaseki said ” I would rather vote for someone whose manifesto is in the public domain. I don’t want to vote for Godwin, no manifesto ”
Speaking more of the qualities of both candidates in 2016, Obaseki said ” I speak Bini to Osagie, he replies me with Bini. I speak Bini to Godwin Obaseki he said permit me to speak English “
He continued ” I don’t want to vote for someone who comes from my area and cannot pronounce Isonoroh. You cannot repair me when you don’t know me. When you are alien to the inner workings of my mind”
All these he said in 2016 when both candidates contested for the first time, the Governorship election in Edo State. Things has changed now as Dr Don Pedro Obaseki is now on the side of the Governor in what he described as his outstanding performance in the development of the State.
The SIMPLE Agenda is a policy document of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC in Edo State, detailing all that he intends to achieve if voted into power as Governor.
